Good Morning!

Hey, Lansweeeper ROCKS! We are loving it here!

One question though....

I have downloaded the premium tools, but cannot for the life of me find in the documentation where to go in order to "install" them!

On the Lansweeper server? Where?

Thanks,

TCU

Hi,

All the tools are standalone and need no special installation, you can just start the .exe file.
Only the premium service needs installation, the instructions are in the same folder in a text file.

Ok, but in order for them to launch from the "Actions" items in the browser dashboard, wouldn't they would have to be somewhere for the web browser to be able to launch it. In the path of the machine trying to launch, or somewhere on the server hosting Lansweeper?

Thanks,

TCU

Yes - but that goes for any of the custom actions.

If you want to run a script you would have the script stored centrally.

In our environment we have it on one of our DC's.

So copy the necessary premium tools to \\DOMAINCONTROLLER\MYSHARE\Lansweeper\Tools as an example.

Then point the custom action to the exe on this location.

The tools must be accessible from the client machine where you launch your web browser.
