Hello,

I'm having a problem with a lot of portable computers not being identified. The method used to identify the laptops depends on the WMI battery report, dumped to a table (tblPortableBattery). I'm missing a lot of laptops on the report wich I need urgently, do you have any fix for that?

Some of the models not being identified as laptops:
26684GG
2668UH3
HP Compaq nc6400 (RW882EP#AB9)

Do these models have a battery scanned?

Another method would be to see which models have pcmcia adapters.

The best method is creating a query where you specify all the models/types which are laptops, but this is much work.
